Doby’s Dream Foundation, in collaboration with two-time Super Bowl champion Deon Bush, is thrilled to announce its partnership with RightWay Auto Sales for their 2nd Annual “Back to School” event. This event will take place on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at two (2) separate RightWay locations, to wit:
• 6824 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Mo. 64133 from 12:00p.m. CST until 1:30p.m. CST; and
• 2837 NE Vivion Rd., Kansas City, Mo. 64119 from 1:45p.m. CST until 3:15p.m. CST.
The event is open to all members of the community who need essential back-to-school items, including backpacks and school supplies. Participants will have the unique opportunity to meet and greet several NFL players including, Kansas City Chiefs Safety, Deon Bush #26. Players will be taking photos with and signing autographs for youth and their family members.
Deon Bush, a standout safety and two-time Super Bowl champion with the Kansas City Chiefs, expressed his excitement about the upcoming camp. “This event is about giving back to the community and providing students with the tools, mentorship, and encouragement they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom,” said Bush.
In addition to the backpack and supply giveaways at both locations, the Kansas City Chiefs have donated additional items for a free raffle for the youth, ensuring that all participants have a well-rounded and enjoyable experience.
The event is sponsored by Deon himself along with Doug White, owner of RightWay Auto Sales. They anticipate serving four hundred (400) youth from the community.
