Strothertowne Pet Hospital is pleased to announce that its newly expanded offices are now open to the public. The clinic, founded in 2009, has grown from two doctors: Warren B. Jones, DVM and Sarah Rutherford, DVM to four, as we welcome Hunter Like, DVM, MBA, and Braden Steidley, DVM. With the expansion, we have eight exam rooms, a comfort room, expanded surgery suites, treatment areas, and two pharmacies.

“There is a shortage of veterinarians across the country. The need for veterinary services has continued to grow as our community grows and we are stepping up to meet that need.” Dr. Warren B. Jones commented. “Our expansion gives us the ability to provide more services and treat more patients while reducing critical wait times.”

In addition to the expansion, Strothertowne Pet Hospital is excited to announce that Drs Hunter Like and Braden Steidley have joined Strothertowne. Dr. Like hails from Kansas State University. He has been named the clinic’s Medical Director.

“I am honored to join Strothertowne. While serving multiple veterinarian clinics as a regional director, Strothertowne stood out in quality of care and is my first choice as I return to my practice. I look forward to making a positive impact and serving with Drs. Jones, Rutherford, and Steidley and our team of dedicated animal care professionals.”

Dr. Steidley joins us from Oklahoma State University and has worked within the veterinary field throughout his life. “My dream of becoming a veterinarian has become reality and Strothertowne is the right place for my practice to begin. You don’t just receive the care of one doctor here, you receive the collaboration of experienced doctors working together in the best interest of your pets.”

“Our goal,” Dr. Sarah Rutherford Lawrence said, “is to save the lives of the cats and dogs that come into our clinic; offering healthy beginnings and advising our clients throughout their pet’s life with the care and love they deserve.”

Saturday, August 17, 2024, Strothertowne is hosting an Open House from 8 am to Noon. Tours of the state-of-the-art facility will be available along with raffle prizes for veterinary care.
