Powered by the Heart of America Council, Boy Scouts of America, Scouts and students are now able to experience the excitement of STEM without ever having to leave their neighborhoods. The new STEMovation lab is a free science, technology, engineering, and math inspired portable training center that features the latest educational tools to help inspire Scouts and students to be creative.

Lee’s Summit North Robotics Team will host Use Your Noodle Cub Scout Engineering with the STEMovation lab on April 7 at Lee’s Summit North Commons, 901 NE Douglas. Register for the 12 pm-3 pm or 4:30 pm-7:30 pm sessions for $5 a person.

The day includes a spaghetti meal, hands on engineering experiments, demonstration of the LSN Broncobots’ Robot and access to the STEMovation lab. Inside the rolling laboratory, Scouts and students will encounter cutting edge programs like software development, system engineering, 3D printing, laser cutting and etching, video drones and more.
