Susan Price, 63, of Windsor, Missouri, died unexpectedly Friday morning, June 29, 2018, as the result of an automobile accident.
She was born on June 25, 1955, in Windsor, Mo., to James Oliver and Laura Madalyn (Mills) Fetters. On January 12, 1973, she married William Maynard “Bill” Price at the United Methodist Church in Windsor. They were the parents of two girls Brie and Chloe.
Susan was a 1973 graduate of Windsor High school. After graduation, she worked at the International Shoe Factory, Hadley Funeral Home, and Parmelee Industries in Windsor. Most recently she worked in the lunchroom at Windsor Elementary School. Family was very important to Susan. Together with Bill, she raised two daughters and was actively involved in the lives of her grandchildren, going to many ballgames and school activities.
She was a member of the Windsor United Methodist Church. She enjoyed riding the motorcycle with her husband and taking trips with family and friends. Early morning walks, shopping, spending time working in her yard and sitting by her pool were also things she enjoyed.
In addition to her husband Bill of the home, survivors include two daughters, Brie Bohon (Brad), Mora, Mo., and Chloe Fosnow (Jamie), Lee‘s Summit, Mo.; 6 grandchildren, Nolan, Elizabeth, Avery and Kolby Bohon and Joey and Jaxson Fosnow; two sisters, Jane Ann Varner (Glenn), Leeton, Mo., and Barbie Mach (Joe), Windsor Mo.; 2 sisters-in-law, Huberta Groneman, Kansas City, Ks., and Carol Price, Calhoun, Mo.; nieces and nephews, Barry Varner (Jenny), Andy Varner (Kim), Brooke Tylar (Zak), Haley Crouch, Logan Mach, Danny Peel (Tracy), Kenny Price (Kelley), and Chad Price; cousins John Trott (Brenda), Robert Trott (Annette), Margaret Hoppert (Joe) and their families; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James O. and Laura M. Fetters; her father and mother-in-law, Maynard and Fern Price; two brothers-in-law, George Groneman and Lonnie Price; two nephews, David Peel and Bryan Price; a great-nephew Ryan Price and an uncle and aunt, Jim and Charlotte Trott.
Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2018, at the United Methodist Church, Windsor. The family received friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Burial was in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Windsor United Methodist Church or the Susan Price Scholarship (WHS Master Scholarship Endowment Fund) and can be left in care of the funeral home.
