Ben Manning is the son of Brian and Elizabeth Manning. Ben joined Cub Scout Pack 4054 as a Tiger Cub in 2008 and went on to earn his Webelos Badge and Arrow of Light award in 2013.

Crossing over to the Boy Scout Troop in the Spring of 2014, Ben went on to earn 30 merit badges and serve in a variety of leadership positions. Ben’s Eagle Scout Project consisted of re-mulching 3,000 linear feet of trail at Winterset Park Nature area, in Lee’s Summit, Mo.

Ben was fortunate enough to participate in two High Adventures, including a trip to Tahosa in Colorado and recently down to the Florida Keys where he learned to scuba dive at Sea Base. Each provided the opportunity to learn and grow as he developed his Scouting skills.

Besides enjoying the campouts and outdoor activities Scouting offers young men, Ben will most remember the camaraderie and relationships he developed over the last ten years. His dearest friendships were formed during his time in Scouts.

Ben is a sophomore at Lee’s Summit West. His career goal is to be paid thousands of dollars gaming on his computer. His secondary goal, should that not materialize, is to study Nuclear Physics and Biomedical Engineering.
