Kara Eaker, Grain Valley, MO, was part of the five member team representing the USA at the World Gymnastics Championships in Doha, Qatar.

The US women won the team title with a 8.766 point margin, their largest-ever margin of victory at a World Championships or Olympic Games.

They also qualified the USA for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

Eaker contributed the highest beam score of the event and qualified for beam finals.

Kara trains at the GAGE Center in Blue Springs, MO under the direction of Al Fong and Armine Barutyan.
