Elaine E. (Earnest) Reiman Graham, 84, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at North Care Hospice House in North Kansas City, Missouri.

A visitation is scheduled from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit. A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the 1ST Presbyterian Church of Lee’s Summit with a visitation one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at the Floral Hills East Cemetery in Lee’s Summit. Memorials are suggested to the Ararat Shrine Needle Guild in care of the Ararat Shrine Temple.

Elaine was born on April 9, 1934 in Versailles, Missouri. The only child of Herschel W. and Mildred E. (Ellis) Earnest. She graduated from Central High School in 1952 and lived most of her life in Kansas City. She was married to Arthur H. Reiman, Jr., who preceded her in death in November 1988, after 35 years of marriage.

She held various clerical positions at a Law Firm, Western Electric, and retired in 1995 as Assistant Human Resources Manager at Calmer, Inc. after 18 ½ years service. She was also a Mary Kay Consultant and a model Railroader. Elaine was a member of Aristo Club, Northeast Kansas Garden Railroad Society, K.C. Garden Railroad Club, the Rock Island Historical Society, Ararat Shrine Needleguild, Ararat Ladies Without Nobles, and L.I.F.T. She also enjoyed traveling, sewing, and entertaining. She was a member of the 1ST Presbyterian Church of Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Elaine married her high school sweetheart, James W. Graham on January 1, 1996. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2002.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Nielsen and her husband Steve; sons, Robert Reiman and Henry Reiman and his wife Beth; step-daughters, Juli Graham and Jaylene Wallace and her husband Dave; step-son, Robert Graham; grandchildren, Paul Nielsen, Karl Nielsen and his wife Brandi, Kristine “Krissy” Nielsen, Ali Reiman, Jennah Reiman; step-grandchildren, D.J. Reiman, William Wallace, and Phillip Wallace; and great-granddaughters, Feiona and Kaylee.

Elaine was a loving wife, mother, and friend whose kindness touched many lives. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
