Jessie Sherman Walton 82 of Lee’s Summit, Mo passed away peacefully at his home on Easter Sunday April 21st 2019 He was a devoted husband, dad, grandpa, great grandpa, great great grandpa and friend to many. He was known as “Pa or Pop” to those who knew him intimately.
A simple man, jack of all trades and master of all of them. He was a lumber truck driver, carpenter, mechanic, machine repairman, maintenance man. He could fix anything. At one period in his life he raced a car at Riverside and ultimately became the Figure 8 Champion there. He loved running demolition derbies at the Lee’s Summit Fair and actually won first place at the State Fair at Sedalia. He loved pitching horseshoes, riding his motorcycle, attending Josh’s little league games and various other activities.
He was a man who loved the lord with all his heart, loved his Eastside Church of Christ family and was devoted to his family and friends. He loved life and lived life well.
He will be greatly missed by a myriad of family and friends. God speed my love…
