Liberty at Lee’s Summit (Friday Night Lights Tour Stop)
The Tigers & Blue Jays meet in a game that’s seen on cable TV as this game of the week pits two teams together who played an entertaining battle last year. The Tigers won in 2018 and will Clip the Blue Jays in 2019 for their first win of the season.
LS North at Liberty North (Pub Pick of the week)
Last year these two teams met in Week 1 and it ended with a Broncos win at home. This time the Broncos go on the road to beat the Eagles. In a close one it’s the Broncos who will come away with win #1 in 2019.
LS West at Park Hill
The Titans head up north to open the new season and have the tough task of playing the Trojans. The game will be a fun one to watch and in the end it’s the Titans who return home happy with their first win.
St. Michael at Summit Christian Academy
Both teams have record numbers out for football this season. Last year SCA scored a win vs the Guardians. This year at home under the lights the Eagles will win again to be 1-0 on the season.
Raytown at Blue Springs South
The Jaguars introduce a new coach and plenty of new faces to the home crowd in this one. The veteran Blue Jays led by QB Joe Campbell will enjoy this road trip as they return home with Win one on the new season.
Fort Osage at Raytown South
Both teams are in transition at the skill positions but it’s the visiting Indians from Fort Osage who will prove to be best as they score a road win in this one.
Blue Springs at William Chrisman
Blue Springs has a date with Rockhurst next week so they better get the win here against a Bears team missing a talented senior class from a year ago. The Wildcats will get the job done on this Friday night.
Park Hill South at Ray-Pec
An expected tough battle will bring out a large crowd to this one. The hometown Panthers will get the better of the visiting Panthers in this one as Ray-Pec starts the year at 1-0.
