Cathleen “Cathy” Louise (Stohr) Kraus, 79, passed away January 7, 2020 at St. Luke’s East, Lee’s Summit, MO.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 10-11am at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church, 130 Northwest Murray Road, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11am. Burial will follow in Sedalia, MO at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 7285 W 132nd St, Overland Park, KS 66213.

Cathy was born and raised in Sedalia, MO. She graduated from Smith Cotton High School and Central MO State University. She married William G. Kraus, Sr. on February 19, 1966.

Cathy was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Sedalia and T.O.P.S. She loved family and friends and enjoyed crocheting. She loved shopping and appreciated a great deal.

Cathy is preceded in death by her husband; infant son, James; parents, George and Nadyne (Ford) Stohr; and sister, Mary Patricia Stohr and JoAnn (Stohr) Deady. Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth (Evan) Kraus Hartenstein; sons, Jacob Kraus, II and William G. (Carmen) Kraus, Jr.; grandchildren, Tylor and Tannor Kraus and Alexis and Wyatt Hartenstein.
