Roland Henry Cretel Sr., 82. passed away February 13, 2020.
Rosary will be 5 p.m., Tuesday, February 18 with visitation following until 7 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Clinton, Missouri.
Wednesday, February 19, from 10-11 a.m. visitation with Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 9020 E. 51st Terr., Kansas City, Missouri with interment following at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri.

Roland is preceded in death by his son Stephen, parents Marcel & Elise, one sister and five brothers. Survived by his wife Rosalie of the home, children Roland (Teresa) Cretel Jr, Suzanne (Dan) Miller, Leon (Annette) Cretel, Sean Cretel, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He graduated from North Kansas City High School, married Rosalie Ann Grimes May 26th 1956. Employment included Braniff Airways 38 years and retired from the Kansas City Star.
He was an avid sportsman that included hunting and fishing. He volunteered in numerous ways over the years that included, 15 years with Campfire girls, 20 years with Boy Scouts of America/Honorary member of MIC O SAY, coached youth baseball for 21 years, Member of the Knights of Columbus for 15 years.
He will be missed by those he touched along the years
