Melinda “Mindy” Giles, 38, of Raytown, MO, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020. She was a lifelong area resident, and leaves behind her beloved husband of 18 years, Romane Giles, son, Arieus Giles, and mother-in-law, Francis Marie Robinson, all of the home; daughter, Makenzee Coonce, Raytown; mother, Dawn Sanders and stepfather, Don, Peculiar, MO; sister, Nikole Coonce, KCMO; brother, Justin Coonce, Raytown and a large extended family and circle of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl “Eugene” Coonce.

Mindy was born in Kansas City, MO, and attended Raytown South High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and brought with her a ray of light when she entered a room. Her effervescent personality and sense of humor will be missed by us all. Due to COVID19 restrictions, no service will be held at this time. We only ask for your thoughts and prayers as we work through our grief.
