Mildred Wright Sole Jones, 96, of Independence, Missouri passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 12, 2020 at Wilshire Care Center.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 17 at Floral Hills Funeral Home-7000 Blue Ridge Blvd Kansas City, MO 64133. The visitation will be from 11:00-12:00, service at 12:00 and graveside burial following at Floral Hills East-25203 E. US Hwy 50 Lees Summit, MO 64086.
Mildred was born November 1, 1923 in Brookfield, MO. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and friend. She always put her family first and they were her number one priority. She enjoyed cooking for her family, ceramics, quilting, dancing, camping and fishing. Her charm, smile, laugh and genuineness will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Cora Wright, her husband Raymond Jones, her daughter Sandra Porter and sister Margaret Wright. Left to cherish her beloved memory are her children Ralph Sole (Terri) from Lees Summit, MO, her daughter Judy Orr (James) from Blue Springs, MO, one step daughter Katie Smith from Lees Summit, MO, 6 Grandchildren-Tracy Malony (Mark) from Kansas City, MO, Kim Phillips (Bob) from Smithville, MO, Otto Porter (Tina) from Kansas City, MO, Lori Orr (Bill) from Warsaw, MO, Angie Eaton (Brian) from Blue Springs, Mo, Keely Jewsome (Frederick) from Raintree Lake, MO, 11 great grandchildren-Shawn, Ryan, Alex, Sara, Jake, Katie, Pat, Karlee, Clayton, Mason, Kennedy, 9 great great grandchildren-Luke, Grace, Rose, Faith, Matt, Mia, Aria, Emily and Molly.
