Fifteen student artists from Lee’s Summit West High School received regional recognition from the Tim Murphy Art Gallery in Merriam, Kansas.
The 24th Annual High School Visual Arts Competition chose 18 works by LSW students. Among the 462 total submissions to the competition, only 80 were chosen.
LSW student Alyssa Lozano received second place and a $100 prize for “Pieced Together.”
