Jaycee Michael Coffman, 26, of Lee’s Summit, MO., passed away on January 3rd, 2021. Born in June of 1994, he was charismatic from the start and full of wonder.
There was never a dull moment as long as he was around. We will forever remember his giggle and sweet smile. Those fortunate enough to truly know him, knew he was one to give up his last dollar to help a person in need and one who ended nearly every conversation with those he cared for with ‘love you’. We watched him as a struggling young man become a humbled young man striving to right wrongs. Despite his struggles, he always remained caring and concerned for others. He believed that even in dismal times, one simple act of kindness goes a long way. Jaycee’s final act was giving the gift of life through organ, eye and tissue donation.
Jaycee leaves behind his three beautiful children, Thaddeus, Irys and Sasha Coffman. Sisters Jenessa Coffman & Aven Coffman. His mother, Marsha Yost- Rice & stepfather Paul Rice. His father James Coffman & stepmother Melissa Coffman. His wife Anya Coffman and many extended family members. We will all miss his silly, crazy and passionate spirit. The family will be holding a private service on January 23rd, 2021. Those wishing to honor his life, are asked to reach out to a family member for further information.
~Any donations you may consider should be a simple act of kindness. Kind acts each and every day will slowly, but surely, leave an enduring legacy of kindness in this world. ~
