The 12th Annual Pink Out Girls Soccer Game was played on Monday, Apr. 17 at Titan Stadium where the LS West Titans played host to the LS North Broncos. A total of three games were played on this night starting with a C team game, continuing with a junior varsity game and ending with the varsity contest. The Titans won the JV game 3-0 then came a balloon release by both teams. Then it was time for the Varsity game where the Broncos and Titans entered halftime in a scoreless game. That would change late in the second half when Addy Rozycki scored the game’s lone goal for the Titans giving the hosts a 1-0 victory. After the rivalry game LS West stood at 8-5 on the season, LS North was at 7-3.
At halftime of each game raffle winners were announced of many donated items to the event. One lucky winner was the 50-50 raffle winner. All proceeds raised went to the Wylie Brown Memorial Fund. Brown, at the age of 40, passed away on Sept. 24, 2022. Brown is fondly remembered from the 13 years spent at LS North as a business teacher. Brown also spent time in the LSR7 school district teaching at LS West.
