On Saturday October 21st, 2023, Monica Sue Browning left the ones she loved to go be with her beloved daughter Shelby.
Monica was born June 17, 1952 in Independence Missouri. She graduated from Kingsville High School in 1970. She then attended Metropolitan Community College. In 1982 she started work at Bendix/Honeywell FM and T as an Inventory Specialist. Monica retired from Honeywell in 2014 to enjoy spending more time with her close family and friends.
Monica married the love of her life Charles Browning on October 23, 1993. They have resided in Lee’s Summit, MO for the past 30 years. Monica enjoyed decorating, shopping, antiquing, and spending time with her husband, daughter and grandchildren. Monica had a unique gift of always putting others’ feelings before her own. She put herself aside to be a part of her grandkids, nieces and nephews lifes, and school activities. Monica always knew the right special gift to buy, the right advice to give, the humor to make us laugh, and the hugs to make us feel safe.
Monica was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Shelby Seiz, parents George and Peggy Bush, Siblings: Renee Bush Curtis, and Kelly Bush, sister in law Martha Bush.
Monica is survived by her husband Charles Browning of Lee’s Summit, MO; son Ryan Browning of Olathe, KS; grandchildren Micalah Lilly of Pleasant Hill, MO, Blake Lilly of Denver, NC and Mason Browning of Olathe, KS; brother Chris Bush of Pleasant Hill, MO along with many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Her love for her husband and grandkids was the most important thing in her life. They could always count on her to be by their side. They will miss her everyday and remember what a truly unique person she was, and how much she meant to everyone.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00 p.m., Friday, October 27, 2023 with a visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Langsford Funeral Home.
