Lee’s Summit Tigers boys basketball team played host to rival LS North on Tuesday, Dec. 12. The Broncos scored a 50-44 win. Broncos improved to 5-2 on the season, the Tigers fall to 3-2.

Lee’s Summit Tigers girls basketball team began the week with a game against rival LS North on Monday, Dec. 11. The Tigers won a close one at 54-49. The Tigers improve to 6-1 on the season, the Broncos fall to 6-2.

Lee’s Summit Tigers wrestling was busy hosting Park Hill on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at the LSHS Fieldhouse. Tigers returned to action on Wednesday in the City Championships held at LS North. The Tigers are a two time defending champion in the event.

LS West Titans boys wrestling finished first in the Coffman Invitational held at Truman HS on December 8-9. The Titans had five individuals finish first in their weight class. The team totaled 261.5 points to win the event.

LS West Titans boys basketball team traveled to Park Hill on Tuesday, Dec. 12 for a non-conference game. The Titans won easily 78-47. The Titans improve to 4-1 with the victory and ended the week with a home game Friday night vs Blue Springs.

St. Michael’s girls basketball team visited Platte County on Tuesday, Dec. 12 to play an early 5:30 p.m. game. The Guardians lost 54-36 to fall to 2-4 on the season.

St. Michael’s wrestling went to Pleasant Hill for a dual on Tuesday, Dec. 12. The Guardians scored a 48-21 win over the Roosters in the dual. The Guardians remain on the road with a visit to Harrisonville next for a triangular.

The 10th annual Lee’s Summit dual was held on Wednesday, Dec. 13 at LS North. All three LSR7 wrestling programs were represented. The Tigers are the defending City Champions. Junior high school championship went to Summit Lakes Middle school at an event held at Campbell Middle School.

Summit Christian boys and girls basketball teams traveled to Lenexa, KS to play Christ Prep on Tuesday, Dec. 12. The girls lost the varsity game 47-45 while the boys varsity won 82-45. Both teams traveled to Richmond High School for another doubleheader later in the week.
